What changed in EmitDream this September, in plain words.
- A new front door: this calm, one-screen landing page with a live preview of the app, where Garrett and his mother Ruth share their stream, and this blog.
- Play Memory refined: every card stands alone, pausing holds the card, particle density can be set by touch, mouse drag or mouse wheel, and music follows your volume settings.
- Emissions now carry photos, videos and voice memos, and receivers can keep them.
- Chat: newest messages at the bottom, unsend before it is read, clear a conversation, edit a nickname from the chat menu, and the latest chat on top of your connections.
- Scheduled emissions arrive with exactly the emoji you chose.
- End-to-end encryption is fully built: passphrase and recovery code, remember this device, reset by email link, and sealing for chat, emissions, media and your own stream. It switches on in stages.
- Sixteen languages: English, Español, Português (Brasil), Português, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlands, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文, العربية, עברית, Cebuano and Filipino.
- Several rounds of independent security review, with every critical and high finding fixed.
